Welcome to Vintage Academe — an on-line boutique and magazine dedicated to the very best in vintage fashion and haute couture. A treasure trove of beautiful designs from the most iconic designers of the past century — Balenciaga, Balmain, Dior, Lanvin, Yves St Laurent to name just a few — as well as unlabelled pieces chosen for their captivating irresistibility.
Celebrating the history of fashion and couture is our on-line magazine, The Journal, with guest contributors culled from the fields of fashion, art, literature, history, politics… who explore the sequin-strewn nooks and crannies of the fashion world, past and present. And we also showcase forthcoming events that make up the rich tapestry that is vintage fashion and couture.
Throughout the year we will also hold regular salons, Academes, an opportunity to buy gorgeous pieces before they appear on the site as well as discover the world of vintage fashion and couture with the people who have been instrumental in its formation. They are open to everyone but numbers will be limited.
